Coffee

Coffee is a roughly 1-year-old, 30 lb male Labrador Creole mix with a heart full of love to give! He was rescued in March 2024, along with his six siblings, from a field in Saltillo, Mexico. Despite a rough start, Coffee is a smart, obedient, and incredibly playful pup who adores affection. He can be a little shy when first meeting new people, but a little gentle attention and he'll melt right into your arms. Coffee is friendly with everyone, including children and other dogs, and enjoys walks, runs, and playtime. He's also cat-friendly! He's already crate and leash trained, making him a great companion for an active family.

Ideal Home

Coffee would thrive in a home with a fenced backyard and an active family that enjoys outdoor adventures. He needs a family with an open mind and understanding of the needs of rescued animals, and who has experience with dog behavior and training. Patience and high tolerance are essential, as he is not yet house-trained.

Ongoing Health

Coffee has a comprehensive health protocol including a Spay/Neuter Certificate, DHPPI and Rabies vaccines, Bordetella vaccine, deworming, microchipping, a 4DX test, negative heartworm test, and is on monthly Nexgard Spectra preventive for fleas, ticks, and heartworm. He also has a health certificate and vaccine booklet. Please note that rescued dogs are not typically house-trained.

Training & Support

Coffee is not house-trained, and his foster family has been unable to dedicate the time to house-train all the animals in their care. He will need a dedicated owner to continue his house-training journey.

• A virtual meet-and-greet will be arranged.
• A trial adoption period will follow, with ongoing communication crucial.

Transportation

Coffee is currently being fostered in Saltillo, Mexico, and is ready to travel to the East Coast on our next cross-country trip. Transportation to your home address on the East Coast is available for an additional fee.
