Annie

Annie is a very petite, five-month-old sweet girl who is doing great on leash walks! She is indoor wee-wee pad trained and very shy and skittish until she builds trust. Annie comes from a unique background; she spent her life with one elderly owner and had very limited interaction with the outside world. Because of this, she can be skittish and unsure around new people and environments. Annie is a wonderful "project baby" who just needs someone willing to give her a chance.

Ideal Home

Annie will do best with a patient adopter who understands rescue dogs and is willing to give her a slow transition into a new home. She needs time to bond at her own pace and requires safe confinement at first, like a small room with wee-wee pads, to build trust. She is not a dog that can be put straight into a backyard as she is a flight risk. Annie does best in homes that already have another small, confident dog for her to follow, and adopters who are willing to follow guidance and give her time to adjust. She has not been around children yet.
