Meet Banjo! This handsome approximately 1-year-old Australian Cattle Dog mix is a bundle of fun and energy, eager to find his forever adventure buddy. Banjo came to us as a stray, so his past is a mystery, but he's quickly shown us his bright personality. He was a little shy at first, but now he trusts everyone he meets! Banjo is a smart cookie who loves to learn and play. Fetch is his favorite game, and he's quite agile, often seen chasing bugs with enthusiasm. If you're looking for a couch potato, Banjo's not your guy – he's looking for an active lifestyle!
Ideal Home
Banjo would thrive in an active home with an owner who understands the needs of a high-drive, high-energy breed like an Australian Cattle Dog. Prospective adopters should research the breed's characteristics, including their tendency to herd and use their mouths to communicate. Because of his herding instincts, families with toddlers or young children should carefully consider if this trait would be a good fit for their home.
Ongoing Health
Banjo will be neutered and vaccinated prior to adoption. His adoption fee is $200.
Training & Support
Banjo is a quick learner and eager to please. While we don't have specific training needs to report, giving him plenty of time to adjust to a new environment is crucial. He'll need patience as he navigates new sights, sounds, and smells in his forever home.
