Spot

Meet Spot, an 8-month-old Labrador Retriever mix who’s as full of love as he is of playful energy! He’s neutered, fully vaccinated, and ready to bring joy and adventure into his forever home. Spot is an outgoing, curious, and smart pup who’s always up for a new experience, whether it’s exploring the great outdoors or snuggling on the couch.

Ideal Home

Spot would thrive in an active home that can keep up with his moderate to high energy levels. He’d love a family who enjoys walks, hikes, and providing mental enrichment. An ideal home would also have a backyard for him to run and play. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs his size or larger (about 40-90 lbs) and would likely do well with dog-savvy children. He also lives peacefully with cats and enjoys playing with them.

Spot is neutered and up-to-date on all his vaccinations.

Training & Support

Spot is a very good boy at home! He is fully housebroken, crate trained, and can be left to roam freely without getting into trouble. He is learning to manage his excitement when meeting new people and other dogs on leash, and can sometimes pull or be jumpy out of sheer enthusiasm. He’s been working with a gentle leader and is making progress, but will benefit from continued training and slow introductions in his new home. While he doesn’t exhibit resource guarding, he can be a bit possessive of his toys, so he is fed separately.

Transporation

Spot is currently located in Dallas, TX. Transports run every few weeks, and he will be on the next available transport once approved.
