Buddy

Meet Buddy! This handsome 1-year-old Lab mix is about 75 lbs of pure joy and love, just waiting to share it with his forever family. Buddy came to us from a difficult situation where he was living outside and not receiving the care he deserved. Thankfully, a wonderful foster stepped in and showed him the good life, and Buddy has blossomed ever since! He's gaining weight, learning the ropes of home living, and discovering that he's a big fan of cuddles, often acting like a lap dog! He's already mastered housetraining and enjoys his crate as a cozy "safe space." Buddy is a happy boy who gets along well with other dogs and children. However, he can get a bit overly excited when greeting people, so he'd do best with children aged 10 and up.

Ideal Home

Buddy would thrive with an active family who loves exploring the outdoors and enjoys plenty of snuggles. An older child family would be ideal.

Ongoing Health

Buddy is up-to-date on vaccinations and has been neutered.

Training & Support

Buddy has great manners when it comes to waiting for food and indicating when he needs to potty. He's crate trained and views his crate as a safe space. Due to his excited greetings, he may jump and will need continued guidance on polite greetings.

• All available dogs can be found on our website and Facebook page. If a dog is no longer listed, it means they have a pending adoption.
• We are a nonprofit organization, and adoption fees contribute to rescue, veterinary care, and transportation for our dogs.
• We are a shelterless rescue, and all dogs live in foster homes to help them de-stress and adapt to a home environment. This also allows us to learn about their unique personalities.
• To start the adoption process, please fill out an Adoption Application. A volunteer will then contact you to review your application and discuss if your family might be a good match.

Transportation

Buddy is currently in a foster home in New England. We do offer transportation to approved adopters within certain areas. Please inquire for more details.
