Hello world! Meet Willy Nelson, aka Rocky! This young man has had a bit of a rocky start in his short life, but he's turning into a rock-solid dog despite it. Through no apparent fault of his own, Rocky was found alone on the street with no identification, and sadly, no one has come forward to claim him. We're determined to make sure he finds a loving, permanent home where he can truly thrive.
Rocky is a sweet boy who has done wonderfully with young children and other dogs. He's shown curiosity towards cats but redirects easily with a simple "no." He's adjusted well to his kennel during the day but definitely prefers to snuggle up in bed with the pack at night. House training is a work in progress, but Rocky is a smart cookie and is catching on quickly with regular potty breaks. His foster family has been working on leash training and teaching him basic commands, and he's a natural – a proper, polite gentleman with excellent manners! Rocky enjoys his freedom and has stayed close when off-leash on his foster's large property. He's shown no possessiveness or food aggression, and he's a very playful pup with plenty of energy, just as a 7-month-old should be!

Rocky would love a home where he can be part of the family, enjoying both playtime and snuggles.
Ongoing Health
Rocky is approximately 7 months old, neutered, heartworm negative, dewormed, and up to date on all his vaccines. He is currently on heartworm and flea prevention.
Training & Support
Rocky is learning basic commands and leash manners. He's also making great progress with house training. His intelligence and eagerness to please will make training a rewarding experience!
