Hi there! My name is Arty, and I'm an 11-month-old, 45-lb bundle of joy who's ready to steal your heart! I'm a Pit Mix with the sweetest soul, offering the perfect blend of affection and independence. I absolutely love cozy snuggles, but I'm also happy to entertain myself with some quiet relaxation time.
My favorite things include enthusiastic belly rubs, exciting walks, spirited games of tug-of-war, and plenty of fun with chew toys and squeaky toys. I also really enjoy romping around with other dogs! While I haven't met any cats in my current foster home, I'm happy to have a cat-test if you have feline family members. I recently met some wonderful kids at an adoption event and, spoiler alert, I was a total sweetheart with them! I even managed to walk beautifully on leash in a busy environment, showing off my excellent manners.
I do have one small quirk: I prefer a little personal space when I'm relaxing and don't love faces getting too close. Boundaries are important, right?
The good news is, I'm fully potty trained and crate trained, so I already have great house manners and make an excellent house guest. If you're dreaming of a happy, loving, and well-balanced pup to join your family, I just might be your girl!

Transporation
I'm currently located in Texas, but I can be adopted locally or out-of-state. We coordinate all travel with our ground transport teams to ensure a safe arrival, and we'll keep you in the loop every step of the way. Transport costs are included in the adoption fees. We also offer video chats with potential adopters prior to adoption so you can meet me virtually and ensure we're a great match!
