Meet Elfenhund Cardigans. Valerie Smith is from Indiana and breeds Cardigan Welsh Corgis. She works at a veterinary clinic so health and temperament are top priorities in her breeding program. She also shows Cardigans in AKC all breed competitions as well as many performance venues. All puppies are raised in the home and her breeding dogs are pets first, breeding dogs second. She produces only one or two litters per year at most so she can dedicate all of her time and attention to each litter. AKC proudly supports dedicated and responsible breeders. We encourage all prospective puppy owners to do their research and be prepared with questions to ask the breeder. Make sure you are not only choosing the right breed for you, but also that you’re getting it from the right individual.
