Meet Lizzie! This sweet, intelligent girl is looking for stability and a place to call home where she can be loved forever. Lizzie might be a little shy when she first meets new people, but with a little patience, you'll discover a playful, affectionate companion with a heart full of love to give. She's a graduate of our PAWs to Prison training program, where she learned an impressive set of commands including sit, stay, down, paw, up, up-up, and place. Lizzie also has a fantastic recall – just whistle or call her name, and she'll come running! Her eagerness to learn and please makes her a wonderful companion for someone who enjoys working with their dog. When Lizzie's feeling playful, she loves to run, jump, and explore. One of her favorite pastimes is chasing and playing in the water from the garden hose! She gets along well with cats, though she's mostly just curious about them, and she's happiest when she can spend time relaxing with her favorite people. Lizzie has so much love to give; she just needs someone willing to look past her initial shyness and see the incredible dog waiting to shine. Her forever family is out there – maybe she's been waiting for you all along!

Training & Support

Lizzie is a graduate of a training program and knows an impressive set of commands including sit, stay, down, paw, up, up-up, and place. She also has a great recall. While she can be a little shy when meeting new people, patience and positive reinforcement will help her continue to gain confidence.
