Josie is a sweet and loving Staffordshire Terrier mix with an estimated birthday of October 26, 2023. She weighs around 40 lbs and is ready to be your perfect cuddle buddy! Josie enjoys playing with her toys, snuggling with her foster siblings, sunbathing, and she has a special fondness for chicken nuggets. She's already living in a foster home with children and does wonderfully with them.
Josie was rescued from the county shelter, where she was facing euthanasia due to overcrowding. She arrived as a neglect case, severely emaciated, and clearly had a tough start. She has made incredible progress and is still working on gaining a little more weight, but she's eager to find her forever home.

Transportation
Josie is located in Houston, TX. Transport is available out of state. Please note that pickup locations for transported dogs may vary, including across city, county, or state lines. We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas. These are ground transports using third-party vehicles converted for dog transport. You will be able to track the van using the Life360 app and receive updates. Facebook chats are also available for transport tracking. You must be able to use one of these services if you wish to follow your adopted dog on transport.
