Meet Posie! This sweet 2-year-old female Maltese Terrier mix is a true survivor, rescued from a backyard breeder and now blossoming in a loving environment with her three grown puppies. When Posie first arrived, she was understandably timid and overwhelmed, but her resilience has shone through. She's a gentle soul whose affectionate nature and love for both people and her canine companions are becoming more apparent every day. Posie is gaining confidence and learning that the world is a safe and wonderful place, thanks to positive experiences and patient guidance.

Posie is currently working on important life skills, including crate training, enjoying time outdoors on the grass, eating on a regular schedule, and accepting treats gently from our hands.
