Chucho

Is Chucho part chupacabra? A land-piranha? The bravest and strongest chihuahua who DEFinitely isn't terrified for his life when he meets a new person? Maybe he is a little of all three when he first meets you, but once he knows you? You have a playful, silly friend for life! Chucho is a 2-year-old little guy who came to us when his elderly owner was no longer able to care for him. He came in swinging, let me tell you! As he has settled in here, he has become a fun, friendly little guy, but he will take a little patience as he settles into his new home. He will definitely be a "leave the leash on," "hands off for the first day or two" kind of guy. Your patience will be rewarded with a loyal, playful buddy who likes to bury himself in blankets and show his stuffed toys who's boss. If you are looking for a feisty sidekick, Chucho is your man!

• You can also apply for an animal at the shelter during our open hours.
• Meet and greets with animals are scheduled after applications have been processed and we've determined you are the best fit. We do not operate on a first come, first served basis.

Transporation

Chucho is located at our shelter in Scituate. We do not offer transportation.
