At a glance
A little about them
Welcome Pearl, a beautiful and very smart Beagle/Basset Hound mix with expressive eyes and a loving personality. She came to DASH after being surrendered to a shelter in Kentucky and is now part of the DASH Prison Training Program.
Pearl enjoys playing with other dogs, running in a fenced yard, snacks, and spending time with people. She is energetic and may not be the best fit for older dogs. She is ready for a forever home that will continue helping her thrive.
Ideal Home
Pearl seems to love everyone, but she has not been tested with children or cats. Proper introductions are required. Because of her energy, she may not be a good fit for older dogs.
Ongoing Health
No specific health conditions or test results are provided.
Training & Support
Pearl had no training before coming to DASH, but she is learning quickly. She knows sit, down, wait, and “leave it,” appears to be housetrained, does not bark in her crate, and walks on leash with her handler. Her new family should be committed to continuing her training as she adjusts to a new environment.
