Nala

Meet Nala, a delightful Mastiff/Lab mix who is approximately 4.5 years old and weighs around 65 lbs. Nala is a loyal and loving girl who takes a little time to warm up to new people, but once she trusts you, she'll be your devoted companion. She is great with kids and enjoys playing with other dogs. She absolutely loves to play in water! Nala is house, crate, and leash trained and knows basic commands like 'sit' and 'down'. She's a smart cookie and is eager to learn more, especially since she's very food-motivated!

Ideal Home

Nala would thrive in a home where she can feel secure and loved. While she's great with kids and dogs, she is not a fan of cats. She can be a bit shy around new people and is protective of her loved ones. We feel she would do best in a home with fewer visitors or where she has a safe space to go when guests are over. She also prefers women but is comfortable with her foster dad. She is fearful of most men.

Ongoing Health

Nala is spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative, and up-to-date on all her vaccinations and preventatives.

Training & Support

Nala is already a well-behaved girl, being leash, crate, and house-trained. She knows 'sit' and 'down' and is eager to learn more. Her food motivation makes training a breeze! Her slight shyness and protectiveness mean she'll benefit from continued positive reinforcement and a patient approach when meeting new people.
