Peanut Pup

Meet Peanut! This 1-year-old, 14 lb Chihuahua/Pug mix is a bundle of energy and personality. Peanut came to us from a local shelter and is ready for his forever home. He's an outgoing and extremely active pup who loves to play and explore. Peanut is still learning to navigate interactions with other dogs and can be a bit vocal around new people and larger dogs on walks.

Ideal Home

Peanut would thrive in a quiet home where he can receive plenty of attention, enrichment, and playtime. Due to his anxiety with unknown factors, he would do best as the only dog in the household and will not be a good fit for an apartment, condo, or other high-density housing. He also cannot live with young children.

Ongoing Health

Peanut is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Peanut is still working on his reactions to new dogs and people on walks. Consistent positive reinforcement and continued socialization in a controlled manner will help him build confidence.
