Max

Max is a young, handsome shepherd mix who suddenly finds himself in need of a new place to land. His bonded companion, Rosie, is pregnant and heading to a foster home where she can safely give birth and raise her puppies. Now it’s Max’s turn to begin his next chapter.

Max is everything people love about shepherds: silly, strong, intelligent, and full of heart. He has that perfect mix of brilliance and goofy charm, always eager to please yet never afraid to show his dorky side. He enjoys the company of other dogs and would thrive with a female dog companion in the home. Because of his size, strength, and breed tendencies, Max will do best with an owner who has experience with large-breed or shepherd-type dogs and understands the structure they need to succeed.

Ideal Home

A home with a secure privacy-fenced yard would be ideal for him, as he loves being part of the action and having room to move.

Ongoing Health

Adoption fee of $275 includes spay/neuter at our vet, vaccines, dewormer, microchip, and a clean bill of health.

Training & Support

Although we work to potty train all of our dogs, we cannot guarantee full house training before adoption. Regression is a normal part of transitioning to a new home. With patience, guidance, and a consistent routine, Max will flourish.
