Anthony is a handsome 35 lb Shar Pei mix with a birthday of January 27, 2026. He's a bundle of joy who loves to make people laugh and brighten every room he enters. Anthony is a social butterfly and enjoys meeting new friends. He absolutely adores children and would fit well in a home with teens or adults who can continue to guide his playful nature. Anthony's favorite pastimes include playing with toys, chew bones, and Kongs, exploring the yard, and zooming around with his canine companions. He's even learning to play fetch!

Ideal Home

Anthony would thrive in a home with a playful canine sibling of medium to large size who can match his energetic spirit. Alternatively, he would be content as an only dog, receiving all the attention. A home without cats would be ideal due to his enthusiastic play style.

Ongoing Health

Anthony has a history of neurological episodes that began around 8 weeks of age. He is now on medication (Keppra) and a specialized diet, and has been episode-free since. His adopter will need to commit to continuing his prescribed medication and diet.

Training & Support

Anthony is crate trained, sleeps through the night, and walks well on a leash. He is currently working on potty training and basic commands. While he adores children, he can be a bit mouthy during play, so guidance from teens or adults will be beneficial in continuing his training.
