Meet Ginger, a sweet 5-year-old, 45 lb Pit mix with the most loving soul. After a life spent as a stray, she might be a little timid at first, but she's a gentle girl who longs to be close to her people. Once Ginger feels safe and secure, her affectionate nature truly shines. She is incredibly sweet, quietly soaking up all the love you can give and returning it in the most heart-melting ways. Ginger is the type of dog who forms a deep bond and will be your most loyal companion. She does well with other dogs of all sizes and is great with very small dogs. While she hasn't been around cats in her foster home, we're happy to do a cat test if needed, as she hasn't shown any prey drive. Ginger is wonderful with children and just needs a moment to warm up. She's already potty trained, non-destructive, and has excellent house manners, making her an easy addition to a calm, loving home.
