Tia (waiting for over a year)

Tia is a resilient, smart, happy, energetic, athletic, and people-pleasing girl who has been with us for over a year. We're not sure why, as black dogs often have a harder time getting adopted. Tia is a playful and energetic girl who loves to retrieve anything you throw for her. She is an affectionate girl that loves to spend time with her people and learns quickly, seeming to enjoy training and being very treat-motivated.

Ideal Home

Tia would do best as the only pet in the home, as she guards her food around other dogs. She would thrive with an experienced dog owner looking for a dog that enjoys engagement and can provide her with the one-on-one attention she longs for.

Ongoing Health

Tia is current on all of her vetting and is ready for a family.

Training & Support

Tia is doggie door trained. She does guard her food with other dogs, which is managed by feeding other dogs separately.

Transporation

Tia is located in South Mississippi and can be transported to VA, MD, PA, NJ, CT, VT, and NY. Transport is facilitated every 2-3 weeks by our team. We can be available for a video call once an application has been approved.
