Meet Fillmore Fillmore is a 13-year-old small mixed breed who was surrendered through no fault of his own due to landlord restrictions. This sweet senior is now hoping to spend his golden years in a loving home where he can be spoiled with all the comfort and affection he deserves.

According to his previous owner, Fillmore has successfully lived with other small dogs, though he has never been around cats.

Staff describe Fillmore as an incredibly friendly and gentle old gentleman. He is easy to leash, though his limited eyesight can make him a little jumpy when something catches him by surprise. He is easy to pick up and absolutely loves being held and carried, happiest when he's close to his people.

One of Fillmore's favorite things is wet food, and he never turns down a tasty meal! More than anything, though, he loves soaking up gentle pets, kind words, and all the affection he can get.
