Meet Buddy, a gentle soul looking for his perfect match! Buddy is a senior Ridgeback/Black Mouth Cur mix with a heart full of love. He may be shy at first and take some time to decompress, but once he's comfortable, his sweet and gentle nature truly shines through. He absolutely loves other dogs and enjoys their company. Buddy is both house-trained and crate-trained – in fact, his crate is his happy place! When left alone, he prefers the security of his kennel, and even when his humans are home, he often chooses to relax there with the door open. This lovable senior does well on a leash and would thrive in a quiet, low-energy home with a patient adopter who understands that he needs time to adjust. While we don't know how he is with cats, he gets along wonderfully with other dogs. Buddy's favorite toys are anything soft and squishy, and he enjoys the simple comforts of companionship. He would be the perfect match for someone looking for a loving, loyal companion who doesn't need a high-energy lifestyle.
