Meet Kenai, the lovable goofball who thinks he's an Olympic bunny! If laughter is the best medicine, then Kenai is ready to be your personal prescription!
At just 4 months old, Kenai is a medium-sized mixed-breed puppy with a heart as big as his paws. He's playful, friendly, and has one of the funniest personalities you'll ever meet. While the other puppies are busy plotting their great escape from the playpen, Kenai is usually too busy tripping over his own feet. Despite being the biggest puppy in the bunch, he somehow remains the only one who can't figure out how to climb out. We like to say his brain is still buffering, but his sweetness more than makes up for it!
Kenai doesn't just run; he hops! Watching him bounce around the backyard like a baby bunny is guaranteed to make you smile. His zoomies often end with an adorable tumble, but he pops right back up like nothing happened. Life is simply one big adventure when you're Kenai.
This happy boy absolutely loves other dogs and spends most of his day wrestling, chasing, and playing with his puppy friends. He's also doing great with car rides and is learning all the important puppy skills. He's working on potty training, crate training, and leash walking, and he already knows how to sit like a good boy. Like any puppy, he's eager to learn and would thrive with a family ready to continue his training.
Kenai was picked up by Wichita Falls Animal Services and is now safe with Texas Pit Crew, where he's waiting for the family who will appreciate his goofy personality and endless happiness.
Ideal Home
Kenai would love an active home with a yard where he has plenty of room to bounce, play, and perfect his bunny hops.
Ongoing Health
The adoption fee of $165 covers three puppy parvo/distemper vaccines, rabies, bordetella, microchip, and spay/neuter. Since Kenai is not yet old enough to be neutered, there is also a $75 refundable sterilization deposit. You will pay $240 at adoption, and $75 will be refunded after his neuter appointment is completed.
Training & Support
He's working on potty training, crate training, and leash walking, and he already knows how to sit like a good boy. Like any puppy, he's eager to learn and would thrive with a family ready to continue his training. Remember before adopting, puppies grow up and still need to be cared for as they grow. Raising a puppy is a BIG responsibility!
