About Peanut

Hi there! My name is Peanut, and I'm a 6-month-old bundle of joy who's a mix of German Shepherd, Great Pyrenees, and Lab (according to my siblings' DNA tests!). I was a stray with my littermates, but a kind person rescued us and brought us to safety. Now, I'm ready to find my forever home!

I can be a little shy when I first meet new people or experience new things, but don't worry, it doesn't take long for my sweet and affectionate personality to come out. My foster family says I'm a charmer, with a perfect balance of playful energy and loving cuddles. I really enjoy my toys and can often be found happily playing with them or enjoying a good chew session. Once I've had my fun, I'm all about snuggling up with my favorite people.

Ideal Home

I do great with other dogs and truly thrive when I have a canine friend. Because I can be a little timid at first, I'm looking for a home with another friendly, confident dog who can be my mentor and best buddy. A dog companion helps me feel secure and really brings out my playful side!

Ongoing Health

I'm a healthy pup ready for all the adventures life has in store!

Training & Support

I'm proud to say I'm already potty trained and crate trained, and I stick to my routines. I love being around people and am eager to continue learning and growing with a patient family who will help me build confidence and show me how wonderful life can be.

Transporation

I'm currently located in Texas, but I can be adopted locally or out of state. We coordinate with our ground transport teams to ensure a safe arrival for all our pets and keep adopters informed throughout the process. Transport costs are included in the adoption fee. We also offer video chats with fosters so you can meet your new companion before they make the journey to you!
