Sweetie Pie

Sweetie Pie is an approximate 2-year-old Bulldog mix weighing around 35 pounds. She came to us a year ago, very under-socialized and exceedingly fearful, with aggression tendencies whenever new people or situations were presented. She has worked very hard to gain confidence and has made excellent progress with the love, patience, and guidance of her foster family to overcome her fears and become a sweet, cuddly, and comical gal with the potential to be the wonderful companion we know she can be.

Ideal Home

Sweetie Pie is seeking an adult-only home with sound behavior experience and the willingness to provide both love and structure, while also managing her fears. She absolutely must have an adult-only home with no children, no other pets, and secure fencing is required. She is happiest on quiet walks where she can explore and sniff in solitude and safety, without the stimulus of cars, new people, children, bikes, or other distractions, as she still struggles in higher traffic and activity settings.

Ongoing Health

Sweetie Pie has been spayed, fully vaccinated, and tested negative for heartworm and tick diseases.

Training & Support

Sweetie is house-trained and is tentative about crating, but has free-roaming privileges in her home with no issues. She is highly food-motivated and responds well to positive, calm, and consistent reinforcement.
