Scooter

Scooter is a sweet and loving boy who can't wait to find his forever home! He was abandoned in February of 2026 and initially had a hard time trusting people. However, with time and patience, Scooter blossomed into a favorite among the staff and volunteers, showering everyone with kisses. While he has made great progress, he still has a bit of a wild side and can revert to his "booger" ways if he feels the need. He's a smart dog who would likely be a quick learner with some dedicated housebreaking. Living in a kennel hasn't made this easy, but we know he'll thrive in a home environment. Scooter would make an excellent barn or farm dog, as he absolutely loves being outdoors and rolling in the grass! He is approximately 6 years old as of October.

Ideal Home

Scooter would thrive in a home that understands he may still have some booger-like tendencies and is patient with his housebreaking. He would be a wonderful barn or farm dog and loves spending time outside.

Scooter is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Scooter needs to be housebroken. He is smart and eager to please, so he should be a quick learner with consistent training.
