Meet Oreo! This sweet, 3.5-month-old Mountain Cur / Labrador Retriever / Sato mix is as charming as his name suggests. Found as a tiny pup with his brother, Oreo has overcome a rough start in life, including severe mange, and has made a full recovery thanks to dedicated foster care. He's now a healthy, shiny-coated pup weighing 13 lbs, and we anticipate he'll grow into a wonderful medium-sized companion around 30-40 lbs. Oreo is an easygoing, affectionate puppy with a calm and gentle nature. He loves people, enjoys the company of other dogs, and is a joy to be around. He's smart, well-behaved, eager to learn, and already knows how to sit on command. Oreo is ready to fly from Puerto Rico to his forever family, bringing a heart full of love and loyalty.

Ongoing Health

Oreo has completed his puppy vaccinations, including DAPPv+L4 and Rabies. He has also been dewormed and is up-to-date on flea, tick, and heartworm preventative. He has made a full recovery from his past mange condition.

Training & Support

Oreo is a smart and eager-to-please puppy who already knows how to sit. Continued positive reinforcement and training will help him continue to grow into a well-behaved adult dog.

Transporation

Oreo is located in Puerto Rico and will be transported to his adopter via volunteer flight angels. This program utilizes volunteer travelers flying to the States who escort rescue puppies to meet their adopters at their destination airport.
