Thurgood is ready to find his forever home! This handsome young adult Hound/Pitty mix, estimated to be born around November 1st, 2022, is a loyal and affectionate companion who forms strong bonds with his people. He has a wonderful balance of playful energy and a laid-back nature. You'll often find him happily playing with his toys in the yard, only to come inside for some couch time, a good chew, and a nap right beside you.

Thurgood would thrive in a single-dog household where he can receive all the love and attention. He does best with structure and clear boundaries.

Thurgood is up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, microchipped, and dewormed. He has also been neutered.

Training & Support

This smart pup is fully house-trained and crate-trained. While he can be a bit stubborn at times, he understands his routine and settles calmly in his crate. He would do great with an owner who enjoys continuing his training to help him build confidence.
