Maddox is a 4-year-old Belgian Malinois mix who has been through a lot of change recently. Her world was turned upside down when her parents divorced, and she and her sister Mel lost their home. While Mel has found her forever family, Maddox is still patiently waiting for her perfect match in Houston.
Maddox is a wonderfully sweet and remarkably well-behaved pup. She gets along famously with other dogs, cats, and children. In her foster home, she lives harmoniously with a feline friend and two young kids, proving herself to be a true social butterfly. Although she enjoys a good game of fetch, Maddox is generally a quiet soul who prefers to relax with her foster family. She's a bit reserved and truly cherishes her own peaceful space. Maddox is already housebroken and crate trained, and her affectionate nature makes her a fantastic companion rather than a high-drive working dog.
Ideal Home
Maddox would thrive in a home where she can receive plenty of love and affection. A fully and adequately fenced yard is a must, as she cannot be adopted to homes with electric or underground fences.
Ongoing Health
Maddox is a healthy 60 lb girl who is fully vaccinated, spayed, and microchipped. She is heartworm negative and currently on ProHeart 12.
Training & Support
Maddox is already housebroken and crate trained. Her foster parents describe her as an almost perfect pup, so she should transition well into a new home with consistent love and attention.
