REX, a.k.a Rexie the Bestie, a volunteer FAV

Meet Rex, also known as Rexie the Bestie! This handsome 68lb Black Lab mix, with an estimated birthday in September 2020, is a bubbly and outgoing guy who is an absolute favorite among our volunteers. Rex loves to play, sit for treats, and most of all, spend time with his people, constantly seeking validation that he's a good boy. You're guaranteed to get kisses 24/7 with this affectionate pup! He's a champion snuggler who seems to think he's a lap dog, even at nearly 70lbs. Rex was rescued as a stray and has overcome a difficult past, making him even more eager to find his forever person or people to share his boundless love with. He has a proven track record at adoption events, happily attending an Astro's watch party and joining volunteers for dinners at dog-friendly restaurants with his best buddy, Bambi.

Ideal Home

Rex is a dog selective boy who is friendly with the girls and prefers proper introductions to other dogs.

Rex is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered.

Rex is kennel and potty trained.

Transporation

Rex is located in Houston, TX. Transport is included and pickup locations may vary, including nearby towns or states. We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas. These are ground transports using third-party vehicles converted for dog transport. You will be able to track the van using the Life360 app and receive updates. Facebook chats are also available for tracking updates.
