Violet

Violet is a 1.5-year-old female American Staffordshire Terrier mix who is a true testament to resilience and love. She was found as a stray in Houston, TX, and despite a difficult start, she has emerged as the sweetest and most loyal companion. Violet is a world-class cuddler who will army crawl across any surface for affection, and her tongue is often sticking out in happy anticipation. She is fiercely loyal and loves to play tug, though she is terrified of squeaky toys and the hose.

Ideal Home

Violet would thrive in a home where her adopter is willing to continue building her confidence through training. A resident dog friend of any size would be a great addition to her new family, as she gains confidence from other dogs. While Violet is good with children, she can be a little scared of loud younger ones, so a quieter home environment would be best.

Training & Support

Violet is fully potty trained and walks beautifully on a leash. She knows the "sit" command and is making excellent progress with place and crate training. Continued positive reinforcement training will help her blossom.
