Rita

Rita is a 7-year-old, spayed female Staffordshire mix who weighs about 58 lbs. She's an absolute sweetheart, a true cuddle bug with moderate energy. Rita enjoys playtime with her toys and family, but she's also happy to settle down for some quality snuggle time. She's done well with other medium to large dogs she's met and would be happy with or without canine companions. Rita also enjoys car rides and would love to go on adventures with her family. She is already crate-trained, potty-trained, and leash-trained! Rita's story is a touching one; she was found in an overcrowded shelter and was facing euthanasia simply due to a lack of space. Despite her past, she remains loving and full of affection for people. She's outgoing and can be a little shy at first, but she quickly reveals her playful and silly personality.

Ideal Home

Rita would love a home where she can get plenty of rubs and attention. She has not met children or cats during her time with us.

Transporation

Rita is located in Houston, Texas. She can be transported out of state once an approved adopter is lined up, and transport runs every few weeks. If you are not able to accept a dog until a specific time period, please apply at that time.
