Meet Buddy!

Buddy is a sweet, vibrant 9-month-old Vizsla mix, weighing in at 53lbs, who is searching for a foster or his furever home! This friendly pup absolutely loves people, happily greeting everyone with a wagging tail. He's a fetch champion who will enthusiastically retrieve a ball as long as you're willing to throw it. Buddy also enjoys exploring the world through his nose on regular leash walks and does well traveling in the car. He's potty-trained and doesn't bark much at home. Buddy loves snuggling up in bed at night. He has experience living with children 12 and older and shows polite, friendly curiosity towards other animals he meets on walks.

Ideal Home

Buddy needs a home where he can be safely confined when left alone, as he has shown signs of anxiety and destruction when left unattended. He does not have experience being left alone for extended periods, so a home where someone is often present would be ideal.

Ongoing Health

Buddy is up-to-date on vaccinations and is neutered.

Training & Support

Buddy knows basic commands like "sit" and would thrive with a structured routine and continued training to help him blossom. He needs practice with being left alone.
