Nala Banks

Meet Nala Banks! This beautiful 1-year-old, 36-pound Lab and Catahoula mix has a tender heart and so much love to give. Nala's world recently changed when her previous owner's demanding new job meant she didn't get the time and attention she deserved. She spent a lot of her early life outdoors, sometimes in a crate and without proper veterinary care. Because of this, Nala is a little nervous and unsure right now, but she's settling in more each day, learning that she's finally safe. She requires slow introductions, especially with men, and can be anxious with crowds and loud noises. But beneath that uncertainty is a truly special dog! Nala is gentle, trusting, and eager to please. She wants to connect, learn, and be someone's cherished companion. At 36 pounds, she's the perfect medium size, with a soft, loving nature that just needs a little time and reassurance to fully shine.

Ideal Home

A patient, kind, and committed home that will help Nala blossom into the amazing dog she's meant to be. She needs slow introductions, especially with men, and may be anxious around crowds and loud noises.

Ongoing Health

Nala will be brought up to date on vaccinations and spayed. She is receiving all the care she needs as she continues to decompress and grow in confidence.

Training & Support

Nala is a bit nervous and unsure but is warming up beautifully. She is eager to please and learning what love and stability feel like.

• The adoption fee for adult dogs covers age-appropriate vaccinations, microchip, spay/neuter if not yet performed, heartworm test & appropriate heartworm treatment by our vet. All dogs in our care are also kept up-to-date on heartworm and flea prevention.

Transporation

Nala is currently in a foster home in the South and transport can be arranged to approved adopters.
