About Queenie

Meet Queenie, a three-year-old Retriever mix who's got a heart of gold and a dash of sass! At 55 lbs, Queenie may have lost sight in one eye, but that doesn’t stop her from living life to the fullest with a spirit that's as adventurous as it is endearing. This girl is a delightful mix of energy, charm, and a touch of diva attitude, all wrapped up in a beautiful package. Queenie loves her walks but has her own pace, sometimes deciding to stop mid-stroll for a quick rest—because, well, she’s Queenie! Playtime for her is more about wrestling with her canine pals and basking in your affection than chasing toys. While she can be a little timid when meeting new people, it doesn’t take long for her to warm up and roll over for those all-important belly rubs. And yes, she has a stubborn streak when it’s time to leash up, but that's just part of her quirky charm! Queenie is all about love and snuggles, and she adores a good romp in the yard. She’s been known to dig or find her way out of containment if her curiosity gets the best of her, but don’t worry, she’s not one to run off; she just likes to keep life interesting! In playgroups, Queenie fits right in, getting along wonderfully with other dogs. Her playful yet gentle spirit enjoys a bit of rough-and-tumble without ever crossing the line. Her energy level is perfect for an active family who can keep up with her lively nature, but she’s just as content to chill out once the fun is over. Queenie is the perfect blend of playful, affectionate, and a little bit sassy, making her a fantastic companion for anyone ready to embrace her unique personality. If you’re looking for a loyal, spirited dog who’s ready for life’s adventures and endless snuggles, Queenie is ready to be your new best friend!

Ideal Home

Queenie would thrive in a home with a big space to explore. She would be a perfect companion for someone who enjoys an active lifestyle, like hiking or running. Homes with children 10 years and older are recommended to ensure the best fit for both Queenie and the family.
