REX, a.k.a Rexie the Bestie, a volunteer FAV

Rex, a.k.a. Rexie the Bestie, is a handsome 68lb Black Lab mix with an estimated birthday in September 2020. He's a bubbly, outgoing guy who loves to play, sit for treats, and shower his people with guaranteed kisses. Rex is a favorite among volunteers because he's a fantastic snuggler who thinks he's a lap dog, even at his size! He was rescued as a stray and is now ready to find a loving forever home where he can share all the love he has to give. Rex has done exceptionally well at adoption events, happily interacting with visitors and even enjoying outings to a local bar and a dog-friendly restaurant with his best buddy, Bambi.

Ideal Home

Rex would do well in a home that can provide him with plenty of opportunities to play and cuddle.

Ongoing Health

Rex is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered.

Training & Support

Rex is kennel and potty trained. He is dog selective, preferring female dogs and being friendly with proper introductions to males.

Transportation

Rex is located in Houston, TX. Transport is included and can take him to various locations in nearby towns, states, or further depending on transport services. We coordinate with ground transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states. Adopters can track their dog's journey using the Life360 app and will receive updates along the way.
