Nyema

Nyema is a sweet and polite girl who came to us in rough shape, starving but still maintaining her good manners. We've been spending our days spoiling her with love and plenty of snacks, and it's amazing to see how much healthier she's already looking! A little bit of regular food and a whole lot of affection can truly work wonders.

Ideal Home

Nyema would love a home where she can continue to feel safe and loved.

Ongoing Health

Nyema is receiving regular meals and care, and is on the road to recovery. All dogs adopted from us will be spayed/neutered and vaccinated before going to their new homes.

Training & Support

While Nyema has been polite despite her past, she is not yet house-trained. We recommend slow, cautious, and appropriate introductions with any resident dogs, after allowing ample time for decompression.

Application Details:

• Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
• All household members should be present to meet dogs, especially those under 18 and any decision-makers.
• We recommend and can arrange dog-to-dog meet and greets for your current dog(s) to meet Nyema. You will need to show proof of up-to-date rabies vaccination for your dog(s).

Transporation

Nyema is located at Chicago Animal Care and Control, 2741 S. Western Ave., Chicago, IL. Walk-in visitors are welcome and helped on a first-come, first-served basis. If you are planning to adopt the day you visit, please plan to arrive before 5:30pm. Visitors arriving after 5:30pm will still be able to view animals in Pavilions A-B-C until 7pm.
