A little about them
Keno is a sweet, affectionate senior boy who loves cuddling on the couch or in bed and following his humans around. He enjoys relaxing with other dogs, riding in the car, and spending time in a fenced yard. Keno is potty trained, uses a doggy door, and knows “sit” and “stay.”
He may have been raised with cats, but he is very interested in livestock and small critters, so he should not live with them. He can have puppy moments, including chewing inappropriate items, and prefers rope toys to most dog toys. He is generally good on leash but can be strong and test his handler. Keno may need support with separation anxiety and is sensitive to thunder, heavy rain, and fireworks, though he is comfortable indoors. His arthritis slows him down in cold weather, while he feels great in warm weather.
Ideal Home
Keno needs a fenced yard and a home without livestock or other small critters. He may enjoy living with other dogs. His comfort around cats is uncertain.
