Meet Panda, a handsome and social young boy with a heart full of love! Our best guess is that Panda is a Border Collie mix, and at seven months old, he's a bundle of puppy energy ready to embark on a lifetime of adventure. He came to us after his previous owners realized they weren't quite ready for the commitment of raising an active puppy, and now he's looking for a family ready to help him blossom into the amazing dog he's destined to be. Panda is a friendly and outgoing pup who loves meeting new people and has a history of doing well with cats. He also enjoys the company of other dogs, especially those who are playful and can match his youthful enthusiasm.
Ideal Home
Panda needs an active family who can provide him with plenty of physical exercise and mental enrichment. He would not be a good fit for an apartment, mobile home, or any living situation where his activity needs cannot be met. A tether is also not an appropriate option for Panda, as he deserves the freedom to safely run, play, and interact with his family.
Ongoing Health
Panda is up-to-date on Bordetella, Distemper, and Rabies vaccinations. He has been dewormed and is heartworm negative. He is currently receiving heartworm and flea prevention and has been microchipped and neutered.
Training & Support
Panda is currently working on crate training and learning the importance of a consistent daily routine. He has good house manners, but like many adolescent puppies, he's still learning and will benefit from continued guidance, patience, and positive reinforcement. He enjoys leash walks but can sometimes pull when excited by something. Ongoing training and regular exercise will help him continue to progress.
