Ideal Home
Mabel would thrive in a calm, loving home where she can relax and enjoy life. She enjoys the company of other dogs who have good manners and could happily share her home with a confident cat buddy after a slow introduction and some supervision. Because she can get a little unsure of other dogs while on leash, she'd do best in a home, not an apartment, where she can avoid too many leashed meet-and-greets.
Ongoing Health
Mabel is a healthy girl. Her adoption fee includes all vetting, which typically covers DAPP vaccination with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12-month heartworm preventative injectable, heartworm test and treatment if needed, and a microchip with free lifetime registration.
Training & Support
Mabel is gentle and easy to correct and loves routine. She has been assessed by trainers on staff, and receives behavior modification as needed to help prepare her for her future family, including crate training, potty training, and leash walking.

Transporation
Mabel is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide via a rescue-run USDA-certified transport system. Transport includes drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada (pick-up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). A $87 surcharge applies for transportation.
