A little about them
Otis is an 8.5-year-old Pug with a huge personality, a happy spirit, and plenty of goofy charm. After spending most of his life in a breeding kennel, he has adapted wonderfully to home life and is eager to enjoy every adventure, sniff, snack, and butt scratch he can find.
Otis is affectionate, people-loving, playful, food-motivated, and wonderfully energetic for his age. He weighs 23 pounds and would benefit from losing a pound or two, though he has other opinions. He enjoys following his people around the house, exploring, and relaxing at their feet when his little legs are tired.
Ideal Home
Otis does very well with other dogs and cats. He loves being with his people and would prefer to spend as much time with them as possible. He is comfortable in a crate and may do well being left loose once settled into his new home.
Ongoing Health
Otis has significant sight loss in his right eye following old, untreated trauma that healed improperly, though the eye does not seem to bother him. His adoption fee includes dental care with extractions, senior bloodwork, heartworm and tick-borne illness testing, vaccines, deworming, and flea, tick, and heartworm prevention.
Training & Support
Otis is doing wonderfully with potty training and is no longer marking. He is crate comfortable, home-adapted, and motivated by snacks, which has helped him build confidence and establish new routines.
