Dinah is a gentle soul with a calm presence that immediately soothes anyone she meets. This beautiful Rottweiler/Shepherd mix, estimated to be a little over a year old and weighing around 63 lbs, is a true sweetheart. Her soft eyes and the way she melts into your touch for a moment of affection are incredibly endearing. Dinah is deeply loving and thrives on gentle petting, especially belly rubs, forming quiet and meaningful connections that feel truly special. She's still discovering the world, and her playful, affectionate personality blossoms more each day.
Ideal Home
Dinah would thrive in a calm home environment with older children or adults who understand shy dogs and the importance of building trust slowly. She is not recommended for homes with cats or very small dogs, as fast movements and busy environments can initially overwhelm her.
Ongoing Health
Dinah is generally healthy and has received all her vetting, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, and flea prevention. She also received a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative.
Training & Support
Dinah can be initially shy in new environments, but with patient reassurance and gentle handling, she blossoms. She takes comfort in calm voices and blossoms when she knows she can just be herself. While she's shown appropriate social skills with other dogs, she can be overwhelmed by pushy dogs. She would likely do best with respectful, socially savvy dogs, particularly calm or playful medium to large dogs who won't crowd her. Once comfortable, she has shown a fondness for rough-and-tumble play.

Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. For Canadian adopters, pickup is available in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. You'll be able to track your pet's journey in real-time and receive photo updates.
