Blue

Meet Blue, a handsome 7-year-old Labrador Retriever/terrier mix who is the perfect blend of playful energy and seasoned maturity. At 55 pounds, he's the ultimate medium-sized companion--big enough for great outdoor adventures, but the perfect size for couch snuggles. Blue was surrendered by his previous owner through no fault of his own. Despite being passed over for a smaller dog, Blue hasn't let that dim his spirit. He is a happy-go-lucky guy who is fully house-trained, fully vetted, neutered, microchipped, and ready to walk right into your heart.

Blue's favorite things include fetch, being outside, going for walks, car rides, and "talking" to his humans. He absolutely loves children and is described as a great conversationalist.

Ideal Home

Blue is definitely not a fan of cats. While he previously lived with a Chihuahua, Blue does resource guard his toys and treats and prefers not to share them with other animals. He would thrive as the only pet, or with a very savvy owner who can manage his boundaries. Because he likes to keep his toys to himself, he would do best in a home with older children who understand dog boundaries and behavior.
