Lucy is a sweet, silly girl who is equal parts playful pup and professional sunbather! This beautiful Hound/Pointer/Cattle Dog mix was born in December 2024 and currently weighs about 40 pounds. Lucy is a loving and playful companion once she gets to know and trust her people. She enjoys a good chew on a bone or a squeaky toy, loves a game of tug-of-war, and then happily curls up for cuddles or basks in the sun. She has a wonderful balance of energy, being happy to play and go for walks, but also perfectly content to lounge and relax with her favorite humans.
Ideal Home
Lucy does great with other dogs and thrives in social settings, but she's also independent and doesn't necessarily need another dog in the home to be happy. She would do best with an experienced dog owner who understands the importance of structure, patience, and clear boundaries. We recommend homes with children 10 years and over to ensure the best fit for both the pets and families involved.

Training & Support
Lucy is fully potty trained and crate trained, settling easily in her crate. She walks fairly well on leash with occasional reminders. Lucy is smart and capable of learning quickly with consistency and patience. Because she can be reserved with new people and may need a little time to warm up, an experienced owner who can provide structure, patience, and clear boundaries will help her feel secure and confident.
