Raven is my name, and much like my namesake, I can be a bit of a loner. I arrived at the rescue with my puppies, a happy accident as they weren't even looking for me when I was saved by a kind trapper off the streets! I'm a beautiful, big, and solid girl with striking black and brindle markings. I show my affection in my own way; after a life on the streets, I'm not quite a cuddler yet and don't always want to be right at your feet, but I'm learning! My eyes show a deep longing for someone patient enough to love me for who I am and who I can become. I'm a pro on the leash and love exploring the world with you. I get along well with other dogs and would likely do best with a calm and confident canine companion. I have a beautiful shepherd double coat, so be prepared for some shedding – a good vacuum and a tolerance for a little extra fur are a must!

Raven would thrive in a home that understands her past and offers patience and gentle guidance. She enjoys walks and exploring and would likely do well with another calm and confident dog. Be prepared for shedding due to her double coat.

Raven is house-trained but may need continued reinforcement. She is good on a leash.
