Galileo is a charming purebred Pekingese with a heart of gold! This neutered male, estimated to be between 3 and 4 years old, is looking for a loving home where he can truly shine. He's a quiet and house-trained companion who would make an excellent emotional support dog. Galileo is incredibly loving and will fill your life with gentle affection. He can be a little skittish during thunder and fireworks, so a calm and predictable environment would be ideal for him.
Ideal Home
Galileo would do best in a home where he can feel safe and secure, especially during loud noises like thunder or fireworks.
Ongoing Health
Galileo recently had a full medical workup, including his neutering, at Westridge Animal Hospital. All of his vaccinations, including rabies and Bordetella, were updated at that time. He has also been tested and is heartworm-negative. Medical records from Westridge Animal Hospital are available.
Training & Support
Galileo is already house-trained and a very quiet companion. His main need for support is a calm environment to help him feel secure during loud noises.

Transporation
Galileo is currently located at our Rescue in Texarkana, Texas. Our next transport is scheduled for July 15th, and he can travel to the following locations:
- Arnold, Missouri
- Springfield, Illinois
- Bloomington, Illinois
- Rockford, Illinois
- Madison, Wisconsin
Please note that for the July transport, we are asking adopters who would typically pick up in Madison, Wisconsin, to please consider picking up in Rockford, Illinois, as we do not have an extra driver available for Madison at this time. A $75 transport fee is required to secure Galileo's spot on the transport, but his adoption fee is not due until you pick him up on July 15th at your chosen location.
