Sam

Sam is an adorable, fluffy Sato with a happy spirit and a playful personality that makes him impossible not to love! At 10 months old and 34 lbs, this resilient, intelligent, and loyal companion was found all alone on the streets of Puerto Rico. Even then, he was the happiest little puppy, always wagging his tail and ready to make friends. Despite his rough start, he has held onto his joyful, optimistic personality and brings that same energy everywhere he goes. Sam has a beautiful fluffy coat, expressive eyes, and a fun-loving personality. He can initially be a little shy in new situations but warms up quickly, soon showing off his sweet, goofy side. He loves toys, enjoys staying active, and is always ready for playtime or an adventure. We suspect there may be some Border Collie in him because he loves gently herding his humans on walks, which only adds to his charm and personality.

Ideal Home

Sam would love a family that enjoys an active companion and is ready to continue helping him learn and thrive while giving him the happy life he deserves. He does great with kids and other dogs.

Training & Support

Sam is crate trained and is currently working on leash and potty training. Any dog you adopt will need patience in a new home with new people and a new schedule, so please be ready to train!
