Utica

Utica is an athletic, lap-sized, snuggly lover of life! When not basking in the sun or cuddling with her people, this girl LOVES action! She's quick, agile, very food-driven, and has boundless energy. She loves to play fetch and frisbee, and with her potential for agility or extreme vertical jumps, she definitely NEEDS a job!

Ideal Home

Utica would thrive in a home that can provide her with plenty of activity and mental stimulation. She would do best as the only dog and would prefer a home without small children or cats. A high fence is also recommended.

Ongoing Health

Utica is housebroken and can hold it for up to 9 hours overnight. She uses "go outside" bells and waits by the door to go out. She is not a fan of crates but will go in to eat her meals.

Training & Support

Utica is learning to take treats gently but can be a bit "sharky." A good supply of hard chew toys is recommended to prevent her from shredding other items. She learns quickly and tries hard to please. Continued training in her forever home is encouraged.

Utica is currently located in Tea, SD. We are a foster-based rescue, so meet-and-greets can only be arranged after an application is approved.
