Grace Hargraves

Grace is a beautiful, sturdy, and incredibly smart 3-year-old girl! Her perky ears are like little bat wings, and she loves a good scratch. Grace has a lot of energy but naps most of the day during work hours. She was an excellent mom to her 10 puppies when she first arrived in rescue, and now it's her turn to find her forever home! She can sit, lie down, and is completely potty and crate trained. Grace loves her kennel and will often take naps in it voluntarily, as it makes her feel safe. She happily sleeps there every night.

Ideal Home

Grace would make a wonderful addition to anyone's household. She is loyal, gentle, playful, and smart. Because she notices changes in her environment and can have a difficult time initially meeting men, a home that can provide a stable and consistent environment, with introductions that allow her to feel comfortable, would be ideal. She is very strong and will require your full attention on walks, especially when first starting out.

Grace is generally healthy.

Training & Support

Grace is working on rolling over, shaking hands, "down," and becoming more zen about seeing squirrels on walks. She was raised in a way that has left her with some signs of trauma, which she is working through with the help of her fosters and Save-A-Bull. She has difficulty when initially meeting men but has shown that she can get past this after an initial introduction.
