Bear

Bear is a sweet and handsome boy, weighing over 100 pounds and is about 4.5 years old. He was surrendered to the shelter due to his owner's health, and it's clear he was deeply loved. Bear knows commands like sit, come, and heel, and sometimes 'stay' when he's feeling particularly attentive! He walks well on a leash, adores playing ball, and is a friendly, great family dog. Bear gets along well with female dogs and is also content being the only dog in a household.

Ongoing Health

Bear is up-to-date on all age-appropriate vaccinations and flea/heartworm prevention. He will have a health exam and certificate issued by a veterinarian within 10 days of departure.

Training & Support

Bear is a good listener and knows several commands. He enjoys playing ball and walking on a leash.

Transportation

Bear is currently fostered in Texas. He is available for adoption and transport out of state to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport.
