Echo

Meet Echo, a beautiful Siberian Husky mix with a shy exterior and a playful heart! Echo came to us through a difficult situation and, as a result, was very fearful when she first arrived. She has since blossomed in a foster home, learning to trust other dogs of similar size and even getting along well with a resident cat. While she's made great progress, we recommend a cautious approach when introducing her to new cats or any dogs much smaller than herself.

Echo is initially shy around new people, but she warms up once she feels comfortable and safe. She thrives with understanding and a gentle approach, much like trauma-informed care for people. She enjoys meeting new faces at adoption events but is still waiting for her perfect person to come along.

Ideal Home

Echo is a runner, a common trait for huskies. This means she shouldn't be let off-leash unless in a securely fenced area, as her instinct is to run if scared.

Ongoing Health

Echo required surgery due to a severe attack from another dog in her previous home. She has been spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Echo needs a patient adopter who can provide a calm and understanding environment. Due to her past trauma, a gentle and trauma-informed approach is recommended to help her continue to build trust.
